Upper Primary Year Level Coordinator’s Message

Wow! The end of another academic school year. I would like to congratulate our Upper Primary Team for successfully completing 2019. Students have participated in many fun activities and programs throughout the year.

Athletics Carnival

On Friday, 15 November, Foundation to Year 10 students participated in the athletics carnival. Foundation to Year 2 students played tabloid sports, enjoying each activity - working great as a team. Students who attended the carnival received a participation award. Well done to the infant primary students. Years 3 to 10 students participated in many events. It was great to see students cheering for their teams. We are proud of the high level of participation and effort shown by our students. I would like to congratulate the sport committee Ms Medine Cilek, Mr Erkan Kocdemir, Mr Shaun Bistricki, Ms Marziah Mahmood and Mr Faruqullah Bashir for organising this big event. Also thank you to Ms Ozlem Coskun for announcing the events during the day. It was great to see everyone working together to make the carnival an enjoyable experience. I would also like to thank parents for coming along and supporting their children.

Intercampus Debating Competition

They did it again! Congratulations to Aydin Dervish, Aayah Hawli and Aleyna Kemal from Year 6 for coming first place in the intercampus debating competition. What’s more, Aleyna Kemal was awarded the Best Speaker! I would also like to thank Ms Ozlem Coskun for preparing our Year 6 students.

Year 6 Graduates

I still cannot believe our Year 6 students have graduated from primary school. I have taught most of this lovely bunch in Years 3 and 4. They have all worked incredibly hard and we have seen great progress from each and every one of them. We are very proud of our Year 6 students! We wish them all the best and good luck next year in Year 7. My dearest Year 6 students never give up on your passions or dreams. Always remember, reach for the stars!
